Message I plan to daily drive it but at a lower boost setting. There is not as much back pressure in the exhaust due to the 35 series tubine therefore not as much heat in the cylinder. All the sharp angles in the head were removed including the lip at the quench area, low ignition timing, etc.
Max boost pressure has been discussed on this forum according to octane rating but it has been assumed that smaller bolt on turbos were being used. Really, I probably could have made close to the same power at a lower boost pressure with advanced timing but didn't try it due to time constraints. It's a point of diminishing returns thing that wasn't found. I set the open loop boost control on 35% and was really just tuning the VE map and timing and that's where it ended up. Once the e85 was put in and mixed with the remaining 91 in the tank it was only e56 according to the fuel composition meter in Haltech.
